Lordship of Christ
We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the risen Lord and Head of our church, that our members are subject to Him, and that we will strive in all our activities to follow His will and good pleasure.
Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:24(a)
We believe there is nothing we can or ever could do to earn God's love. He simply loves us even though we've sinned against Him.
Ephesians 2:8; Romans 5:8
We commit to and fully participate in the Biblical command to go and make disciples, to baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and to teach them to obey all things Jesus Christ has commanded. We further commit to support local, state, and world missions, always striving for continuous growth in God's Kingdom.
We believe prayer is the vehicle God has established to make it possible for His children to freely communicate directly with Him, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through prayer, we make known our petitions for His mercies, His grace, and our desire for a greater understanding of His will and divine direction for individual lives and our church fellowship.
Worship & Praise
We believe our worship and praise should be spiritually motivating, causing us to have a burning desire to better understand His true goodness and greatness and our duty to obey Him.
Hebrews 13:15; John 4:23
We believe our church should be led by people of good reputation, full of the Spirit of God, and of wisdom who will prepare God's people for works of service. Our love-driven ministry offers training opportunities and practices that encourage individual initiative, leadership, responsibility, and authority in the various ministries of our church.
Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Corinthians 13
Bible Centered Preaching & Teaching
We commit to faithfully & accurately preach and teach God's Word, both Old & New Testaments. We believe it to be the inspired Word of God, containing the complete disclosure of His providing a means for the salvation of all of mankind, and the final authority for all Christian faith & living.
2 Timothy 3:16
Following the Godly example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we welcome every person who is seeking the truth with loving kindness, dignity & respect.
Luke 6:31; James 2:1-5, 9; Colossians 3:15-16
We believe life is a gift from God. We believe families should be given an honored place in our society and therefore protected and nurtured. We seek to provide Christian guidance and encouragement to strengthen the family unit.
Psalm 139:16; Deuteronomy 11:19
We believe God has revealed to us His best, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, we honor Him by seeking excellence in all our ministries and activities. We recognize that serving God requires sustained commitment, loyalty and responsibility to those ministries God has assigned to us. We believe it is desirable and necessary to continually evaluate the effectiveness of how we present God's Word and to apply new and creative teaching methods.
